“I know this review is incredibly long but please read this if you are debating between wedding planners or if you aren't sure what working with a wedding coordinator is really like (because that was me!!)

I would give Carole and her team 10 stars if I could!! We booked her in 2019 for our wedding in 2020 and one of the questions I asked her during the initial consultation was how she handles unexpected situations and what would happen if for some reason we had to make drastic adjustments to our plans. Her answer was very professional and gave me confidence in knowing that she was experienced enough to handle anything that could be thrown at us. Well, we all know what happened in 2020 and low and behold, we had to postpone our wedding and pivot everything.

Carole has been a guiding light throughout the entire planning process and she's helped us stay calm and collected. Working with her has been a stellar experience from beginning to end. She's extremely responsive, gave us great advice each step of the way, recommended amazing vendors, and kept us organized and sane up until the big day.

The week of our wedding was hectic due to many of our guests canceling last minute. In the end, we weren't able to meet the minimum guest count for our venue and despite us having already committed to a final balance due, she helped us reduce our count at our venue which saved us a lot of money that would have otherwise gone to waste. She also helped us figure out a way to repurpose the signage we had already purchased so that we could coordinate around the new guest count without needing to redo our entire floorplan or reorder any prints. This is a great example of why it's so important to work with a professional planner!!

She created our timeline, helped us figure out the processional and recessional details, helped us with our floorplan, and knew so much about our venue that she would often answer questions I had before our contact at the venue had a chance to get back to us. Her level of expertise is unmatched.

But none of that compares to how diligent, caring, and detailed-oriented Carole and her team were on the day of the wedding. She and her 2 assistant coordinators went above and beyond to make sure that all we had to do was enjoy our day. These ladies executed everything to a tee. I wasn't asked a single question all day, I was catered to endlessly, and everyone in our wedding party including guests commented multiple times about how seamless the entire day was. Carole and her team WORK HARD. They were running around tirelessly behind the scenes like FBI agents with their headsets the entire time communicating with vendors, keeping everyone to our timeline, and making sure that me and my now hubby had everything we needed. Oh, at one point during the reception I went to take off my heels because my feet were hurting and one of her assistants appeared out of nowhere to help and brought me slippers!!! Also, towards the end of the night, her 2 assistants stayed behind to make sure that my new hubby and I had everything we needed and escorted us back to our room where EVERYTHING WAS ORGANIZED FOR US. Desserts were saved for us to enjoy, our gifts were left neatly in our room, flower arrangements were saved and our sign that our guests left notes on was propped up beautifully. The level of care and attention is unreal.

I'm a week out now from my wedding! and I've really reflected on my wedding planning journey. and I'm still in awe of how magical my day was. And when I reflect back on my entire wedding planning journey and what carole and mina provided me, it was amazing service! If you're someone who's a bit type A like me, then having carole and mina on your team will be the best decision of your life! They have always responded to my emails promptly and have hopped on zoom calls with me whenever I needed them! Their responses are never vague and are always detailed and well thought out. Everything about their process is very streamlined. And being a bride, you're also constantly making changes, and they have always accommodated me. If you are looking for utmost professionalism and efficiency then these are the people you need for your wedding.

Where they absolutely really shine is the day of coordination. A huge shout out to Ashia and Mari for helping me get through the day. I had so many of my guests and family members personally come up to me and say how absolutely STELLAR Ashia and Mari were. (like just think about that for a moment...guests are coming up to you to let you know that your coordinators are awesome)

They were ALWAYS on top of things. Your wedding day is going to be so hectic but they always seem to be one step ahead of everything and they always seem to be right next to you when you need them. Their EQ is exceptional, always being able to "read me" and know exactly what I need and when I need it. When I'm needing water and food because I may have drank a bit too much, BOOM, I have water and food right next to me. They know when to push you and when to stand back.

Literally, everything went exactly how I envisioned it on my wedding day. I don't even remember any "fires" happening.

But I know with an event this big, there were probably "fires" in the background happening that I wasn't even aware of BUT because they were just ON TOP OF IT .... I never even had to be aware of it. And this is what you want for your wedding day when your mind is going to be so preoccupied with PEOPLE. You're going to want a team behind you that will make sure your logistics are handled so you can jump into being the guest of honor.

“I had Carole at Bright Blue Events plan my wife's 40th birthday party in our backyard. The theme was Caribbean.

Carole is very organized..she was on top of everything from rental companies, caterers, and she even provided a color layout of the event site (my backyard). She made sure the party flowed and even provided a timeline for everything to occur.......Everything went smoothly and according to plan. STRESS FREE!!!!!!!!!!

I was very impressed with Carole's attention to detail. Ten days before the event she checked the weather report, without me asking, to see what the temperature was going to be like on the day of the event. She saw that it was going to be cold, so within a few days she changed the layout by adding clear tents with more warmers to make it cozy. Carole rearranged everything to fit within our original budget.

One of our guests said he thought our back yard looked like an ocean front resort in Maui!

Her staff was very professional...they dressed appropriately and were very polite. The service was excellent.

I thought of using Bright Blue Events after going to a friend's Indian wedding in her parents backyard. The decorations were so impressive that I felt as though I was in India!

“I was referred to Carole by a friend who raved about Bright Blue's wedding planning at her own celebration. From my first phone call with Carole, I had a feeling of calm and security and knew she would be a good fit for me and my fiance as we began the planning process for our wedding. Beyond her multifaceted skills as an extremely professional, efficient, organized, knowledgeable, and uniquely talented event planner, with a background in the arts and running her own catering business, Carole is also just genuinely a caring and warm person and wonderful to spend time with, which is important, since wedding planning can be a long process!













I began working with Carole nearly a year before our wedding date. From the beginning I knew she would work hard to make the wedding true to "us" as a couple and our wishes and preferences. As a lawyer, I'm a stickler for details as well, but Carole was always on top of everything, and was truly OUR advocate in the planning process. She kept us organized and on track, providing monthly to-do lists, timelines, and a budget, sending reminders, and checking in when appropriate. She attended all the important meetings and asked crucial questions of both us and our vendors I wouldn't have even thought to ask, really doing her due diligence and ensuring that we were working with quality people who would deliver what they promised. For example, our venue coordinator mysteriously left after we negotiated and signed our contract, and the venue subsequently went through two more coordinators in less than nine months, which really made us nervous due to the unexpected turnover. Carole and her assistant Leah stayed on top of them, consistently following up and ensuring that what we bargained for would be honored and delivered. I don't know what we would've done without Carole.

Another great thing about Carole is that because she is so good at what she does, she also works and associates with quality people. Some of the vendors I found through her recommendations and connections, such as my photographer, makeup artist, DJ, and lighting company, were absolutely fantastic and a perfect fit for our wedding. Carole only provides options, she never pushes you to hire someone, but when I interviewed them myself I knew it was a good fit and that they would be great. Carole is also a wealth of knowledge about wedding planning, vendors, and etiquette, and was always a helpful resource whenever I had a random question.

Carole is professional and friendly, yet also very firm, which is an important quality to have in a planner. I am not a super-decisive person by nature, but I found through the nearly year-long and sometimes stressful decision-making process that with Carole's guidance and resources, I was able to be confident in my decisions about the wedding and know that everything would work out. When things were important, Carole let me know, but she also didn't bother me with every little detail, which I appreciated. When a problem came up with a vendor, Carole knew how to handle it. She is just someone you can really trust and who will ensure your wedding is everything you want it to be, and more.

As for the wedding planning details, Carole did a design look-book for me incorporating some of my inspirations/preferences from Pinterest and other sources, as well as her own ideas as a planner. Carole has an incredible eye and she truly captured the rustic feel and look we were going for, while also making the event elegant and more than just a backyard party. The table settings, the aesthetic, the ambiance, just everything about what Carole created that day was perfect. Carole also has a flower business, and what she did for our flowers was truly amazing. As someone who didn't think she cared about flowers, I was so glad I had Carole because she nailed it, even with flowers being a more minor part of the budget. The flower arrangements worked perfectly with the setting, and they were just so gorgeous and lovely, guests couldn't stop complimenting.

Carole's day of team is also outstanding. Ryan was on top of everything and extremely organized and professional. Leah was down and dirty setting up our Giant Jenga set, not to mention all the research she did prior to the event on wedding favors, bluegrass bands, and everything else we wanted. As other reviewers have echoed, having Carole and her team there the day of the wedding just helped me enjoy the event completely and be present for my husband and our guests without worry.

I couldn't be happier with Carole and her team at Bright Blue. Our wedding was everything we wanted it to be. Our guests had such a great time and after the wedding were sending notes to my parents and to us about how wonderful everything was about the event. If you are looking for a planner, do yourself a favor and talk to Carole -- I promise, her services are worth it.”
